Shipping Policy

Shipping & Returns

USPS, UPS, Fed-Ex & Local Delivery:
We ship within 1 to 5 days from when order is received. We ship via-USPS, UPS, Fed-Ex within the U.S, and only provide local-driver-delivery services to Victorville, Hesperia, and Apple Valley. We do not ship to PO Boxes. 

 

*** If you are local in the L.A, I.E. area, feel free to contact us if you would like to pick up at our location. Please allow us 1-3 day advance notice to prepare your order and have it ready for a local pick up. 

Please note: Our items are NOT shipped in retail packaging. They are shipped loose and individually wrapped to save on cost.

Same Week Delivery for local orders: Please have your order in by 1:00 pm PT Tuesday for same week delivery.

**For all other orders shipping outside of California, but within the U.S : Please allow 1-5 business days to ship out the order from warehouse from the time order is placed.

USPS, UPS, Fed-Ex Transit time: All products are shipped using 2-5 Day ground delivery method, except our perishable items. Perishable/frozen items are shipped 2nd day air delivery. We are unable to modify the shipping method or carrier.

PERISHABLE FOODS: Our shipments leave our fulfillment center frozen to preserve the freshness and should be placed in your freezer immediately upon receipt. Some thawing will occur during transit, and this is normal.

Return & Exchange Policy

Shipping Accuracy: Check your addresses carefully! Our delivery guarantee extends only to correctly addressed orders. We cannot guarantee the condition of the package if the delivery service has to reroute. We guarantee delivery only to the provided address confirmed on the order acknowledgment.

No weekend deliveries available: Orders are shipped 2 or 5 Day Ground, depending on your location. The order placing cut-off is Tuesday at 1:00 pm PT to try our best to receive delivery the same week the order is placed. Unfortunately, this cannot be guaranteed, due to our warehouse employee hours, but we will try our best to get the order out asap. Deliveries are made Monday through Fridays only, with no exceptions.

Unfortunately, we are unable to ship to PO Boxes, APO, FPO, DPO, or International addresses.

Refunds and Replacements:
Due to the perishable, and non-perishable (foods) nature of our product, we do not accept returns, but may reserve the right to evaluate the position of the items in order to conclude on a refund, or replacement.  We reserve the right to limit refunds and replacements. 

 

Claims:

The Cajun Shop cannot submit a claim with the carrier. The consignee / addressee will need to submit the claim with the carrier if the order has arrived damaged or lost in transit.


Ordering Policy:
Orders can be placed 24 hours and 7 days a week via our website at www.realcajunshop.com

Cancellation policy or change of order:
Any change of order, including cancellations, must be communicated to us within 24hrs. Our warehouse strive to ship orders as early as same day received, but reserve a time frame to ship within 1-5 business days from the day an order was received. Due to orders potentially leaving same day, we cannot guarantee the change of order or cancellation to be processed if we are not contacted as soon as possible via-telephone, email, or chat on the site: www.realcajunshop.com



Handling and Freshness:
All frozen meat products from The Cajun Shop are shipped frozen from our warehouse.
Please freeze the products immediately upon delivery. Please note: items will go through a thawing process due to transit/shipping time, and it’s normal. We ship frozen items 2nd day air to preserve freshness during shipping and upon delivery.

We strongly advise that you track your order continually to make sure order is received and placed on refrigeration as soon as the carrier delivers. Please note: carriers will not knock at the residence door, or require a signature when order is delivered, but will only deliver at front door. For this reason, we strongly recommend to track the order until delivered, to avoid the order from sitting in front of door without being handled accordingly and placed in refrigerator/ freezer upon delivery.
